Edna (Goldberg) Abelson, died Tuesday, May 7, 2002, age 94 of Pittsburgh; vice president and co-founder of Abco Fire Protection, Inc.; beloved wife of the late Larry Abelson; loving mother of Barbara (M. Alfred, DMD) Seltman, Pittsburgh, Carol (Louis) Connor of Fairfax, VA; devoted grandmother of Paul (Jeane) Seltman, Elliott Connor, Scott Seltman and the late Stephen Seltman; dear sister of Esther Weinstein, Granada Hills, CA, Dorothy Yahr, Oak Park, CA, Norman (Ruth) Garvin, Pittsburgh; many nieces and nephews. Friends will gather at the Burton L. Hirsch Chapel, Squirrel Hill on Friday, May 10, 10-10:30am, then leave for a graveside service at Beth Shalom Cemetery at 11am.
