Shawnee resident Connie Jean Buckmaster, 57, died Monday, Nov.2, 2009 in Shawnee.
She was born June 25, 1952,in Ft. Bragg, N.C., to William and Loretta (Ramsey) Duffield. Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Duffield and her infant daughter, Michelle Lee. Those left to cherish their memories are her husband Bill Barnett of the home; mother, Loretta Duffield of Shawnee; children, Michael Buckmaster and wife Tina of Macomb, James Buckmaster of Noble, De Ann Tenney and husband Michael of Konawa, and Craig Buckmaster of Noble; siblings, Bill Duffield and wife Susan of Shawnee, Donna Vawter and husband Don of Shawnee; grandchildren, Alayna, Brenden, Anna, and Leon; as well as numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery with Jim Ticer officiating.
