Blakely Lynne Cummins, was born on March 2, 1987 in Winter Park, Florida to her Parents; Randy and Kathy Cummins.
She was blessed with one Brother; Chase, and one Sister; Averi.
She lived her short life to the fullest. She was a Graduate of Christian Academy of Louisville, Kentucky Class Of 2005, and she currently attended College at Western Kentucky University. She was a server at Cunningham's Creekside. A former member of Gymtyme All-Stars. She was a member of the Southeast Christian Church, she really enjoyed doing mission work, and she was looking forward to her next mission trip.
On November 20, 2009 Blakely passed away unexpectedly in her sleep at her residence, at the age of only 22 years old.
She will forever be remembered for her unselfish and giving spirit. She was the life of every party, where she would truly light up the room. Blakely never met a stranger! She will be greatly missed by her family and everyone's life that she touched.
She is survived by her loving and devoted parents; Randy & Kathy Cummins, brother; Chase, sister; Averi, grandparents; Pat & Barbara Cummins, and Jack & Lynn Ramsay, great-grandmother; Louise Widby., aunts & uncles; Alan & Kathy Cummins, Gary & Karen Lawson, and Randall Ramsay. Cousins; Rachel, Ian, Kerry, and Matthew, and all of her extended family members.
A service to Celebrate the Life of Blakely Cummins was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2009 in the chapel of Southeast Christian Church. Interment followed the service at the Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood, Kentucky. Visitation was held from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home. Expressions are requested to Southeast Christian Church, Young Adults Missions. Arrangements were in the care of the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home.
