W. E. MASTERS IS DEAD AT NORFOLK Former Lebanon Man Expired Monday of Apoplexy. WAS 54 YEARS OF AGE Resided Here 15 Years ago Employed in Government Ship Yard.
A. T. Masters has received a message from Norfolk, VA., that his brother had died there of apoplexy. The deceased was about 54 years of age and was employed in the government ship yards at Norfolk, going there from Indianapolis when a call was issued for men for that branch of war work.
Mr. Masters had been missing from home for three days. His disappearance was cleared up when it was found that he had been stricken with apoplexy while away fromhome, it is said, and there had been some delay in establishing his identity.
The body will likely be brought here for burial. He resided in this city about fifteen years ago, moving from here to Indianapolis. He is survived by his wife and three sons, Lloyd, Homer and Lysle.
He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Amanda Masters of this city, a sister, Miss Daisy Masters of this city, and the following brothers: A. T. of Lebanon; John A. of Thorntown; O. W., L. L., and E. H. of Indianapolis.

BODY OF W. E. MASTERS BURIED AT NORFOLK Message Received Here Said Body Could Not Be Transported To Lebanon.
A message received by A. T. Masters stated that the body of his brother, W. E. Masters who died Monday at Norfolk, VA., of apoplexy, could not be transported and that the funeral and burial was at Norfolk on Wednesday. No further particulars of his death have been received.
