He was born April 26, 1918, in Elyria, to Sylvan and Flora Weigel Bihn. On July 16, 1946, he married Cleopha Fullenkamp, who survives.
Other survivors are four sons, John Bihn Jr., Gerald (Becky) Bihn, Tom (Jackie) Bihn, and Ralph (Kathy) Bihn; a daughter, Linda (Don) Boeckman; a brother, George Bihn; a daughter-in-law, Barb (Dale) Link; 36 grandchildren; and 71 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, Leonard and Edward; a daughter, Susan Bihn; a daughter-in-law, Marlene Bihn; four sisters, Marie Kramer, Frances Fullenkamp, Margaret Knapke, and Lucy Borden; and a great-grandchild.
He retired from the former AGCO New Idea, Coldwater, and was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
