Marissa was born to Lisa and William "Billy" White. She was also known as "daddy's little girl." Marissa and her mom, Lisa Ann (Scribner) White, were tragically taken away from us on Nov. 7 in an automobile accident.

Marissa attended pre-kindergarten at Fairview Elementary in Auburn. She enjoyed going there every day and would even try to go to school on days she didn't have to. Her favorite cartoon character was Dora. She loved being with her family, reading books, coloring, swinging on the tire swing in the yard and fishing.

Marissa will be sadly missed by her father, Billy; her brothers, William, Robert and Wesley; sister, Monica; grandparents, Jimmy and Sandy McPhail, and Roger and Barbara Bean; great-grandmother, Arlene Osier; cousin, Shawn; and many aunts and uncles who all loved her dearly.

Arrangements are by the Dolby Funeral Home Chapel in Windham. Visiting hours will be Wednesday morning, followed by a funeral service at noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Windham.

The family has requested donations be made in their memories to the family: The William White Family, c/o Coast Line Credit Union of Maine, 333 Cottage Road, South Portland, ME 04106.
