Mozelle Allen Jones, 59, of Colorado City died Friday morning in a local hospital. Services were Sunday, September 3, 2000 in the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jake Chaney officiating. Burial followed in the Dunn Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jones was born to Mose and Lillie Allen in Roscoe, Texas on October 11, 1940. She was a beautician and a member of the Westbrook Golden Age Club. She married Hughie Jones on May 22, 1986 in Abilene.
She is survived by her husband, Hughie Jones of Colorado City; two sons, Murray Clark Jones and Michael Shawn Jones; one step-daughter, Rachael Britton; one step-son, Ray Jones; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Eva Mae Allen, and one son, Ricky Alan Jones.
