Margie Dishman (Chattanooga Times, Friday April 6th, 2001)
DUNLAP -- Margie Cleo Dishman, 87, died Wednesday night, April 4, 2001, in a Dunlap,
Tenn., nursing home. She was a longtime member of the Lusk Church of God of
Prophecy and was preceded in death by her husband, Tess Dishman; one daughter,
Carolyn Dishman; two sons, Oval and Olen Dishman.
She is survived by their daughters, Jane Keener, Linda Campbell and Shirley Johnson,
all of Dunlap; six sons, Eddie, Rayburn and Terry, all of Dunlap, Lonnie Dishman,
Signal Mountain, Jimmy Dishman, McMinnville and Larry Dishman, Dyersburg; 33
grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; two sisters,
Bobbie Holland, Dunlap, and Berlene Bowllinger, Signal Mountain; brother, Bill
Hitchcock, Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dishman will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of
Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Rains, Rev. Darrell Nance and
Rev. David Morgan officiating.
Burial will be in the Collier Cemetery. Arrangements by Putnam-Standefer-Reed
Funeral Home, Highway 28 South, Dunlap, TN. Family will receive friends all day
today and on Saturday until time of service.
