Nellie F. Santrock, 86, of Dawn Health Care & Retirement Center at Dover and longtime resident of New Philadelphia, died Monday, Nov. 17, 1997, in the center. Born March 28, 1911, in Armstrong County, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Addison B. and Mary F. Lasher Wyant. Mrs. Santrock was a homemaker and a member of First Church of the Nazarene at New Philadelphia. She was also a member of the Woman of the Moose at Dover, Tuscarawas County Senior Citizens and AARP. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert N. Santrock, in 1991; and five sisters and three brothers. At Mrs. Santrock's request there will be no visitation or services. Burial will be in Fort Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia is in charge of arrangements.
