Mr. Abele has had several years' residence in Europe and has traveled extensively in the United States and Canada. He was at one time engaged in chemical research work for an oil company. His newspaper connections, previous to his coming to Lake County, were as a member of the editorial staff of the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin and as night editor of the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel. He has also written magazine articles and short stories. In March, 1928, Mr. Abele came to Mount Dora to become editor and publisher of the Mount Dora Topic. He was unmarried.
