OBITUARY :
MRS. MARY CATHERINE CAPLINGER, 92, of Rt 3 Hedgesville died Tuesday morning in City Hospital.

Born in Hardy County, she was the daughter of the late Montgomery and Martha Delauder Halterman.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Dora Spangler, Harrisburg, Va., Mrs. Bliss Campbell of Luray, Va. and Mrs. Leoda Cullers and Mrs. Lena Combs, both of Hedgesville, three sons, Oscar Caplinger of Manassas, Va., Russell Caplinger of Bergton, Va. and the Rev. Austin J. Caplinger of Martinsburg, and 27 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the independent Assembly of God Church in Martinsburg with the Rev. Austin J. Caplinger officiating.

Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the Brown Funeral Home this evening from 7 to 9.

The body will be removed to the church at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
