Clyde Lee Smith, 81, of Crossville passed
away Feb. 10, 2005. Funeral services were
conducted Feb. 12th from the chapel of
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, burial
in Davis Cemetery,Vandever. Leslie Hickey
and Hank Jones officiated.Mr.Smith was born
Jan 16, 1824 Bledsoe county Tn.Son of Floyd
and Lola Smith. He was rtired from Crossville
Rubber Plant and also served in the U.S.Army,
during World War II.
He was of Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia
Brewer Smith of Crossville;son and
daughter-in-law Dexter and Carol Smith
of Crossville; daughter and son-in-law
Debbie and Bob Wilson of Crossville;
gr.children,Shannon Smith,
Chip Simmons and Amy Reed of Crossville.
Shelly Gibson of Knoxville,Stephen Wilson,
Bratcher Wilson and Michael Wilson of
Crossville. Nine great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was
preceded in death by eight bros.and sisters.
Pallbearers were Chip Simmons,
Bratcher Wilson, Michael Wilson,
Shannon Smith,Travis Wyatt, Brandon Lucus.
Honorary Pallbearer was Raymond Smith.
