"Death of Mrs. Harry R. Adair -
Mrs. Sadie Adair, wife of Harry R. Adair, of Elm, Penn township, died at the St. Joseph's hospital, Lancaster, on Thursday morning, November 29, aged 32 years, 10 months and 4 days. She was taken to the hospital on Tuesday of the previous week and underwent an operation, the effects of which she was unable to withstand. Mrs. Adair was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Witmyer, of Penryn. She was a member of the Jerusalem Reformed Church of Penryn. Besides her parents and husband, one son, Chester, survives, as do the following brothers and sisters: Elsie, wife of Elmer Weachter, of Halfville; Gertrude, wife of Wayne Wolfskill, of Penryn; Harry, some where in France; and Chester, at home. The funeral was held on Monday with services in the Penryn Reformed Church and interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. George B. Raezer officiated."
