Glinden H. Belew, 86, of Conway, Arkansas, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012. He was a WWII Army veteran who saw service in the European Theater. He was a retired millwright and carpenter, and was an avid fisherman. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Glen is survived by his wife, Dorothy Short Belew of Conway; two sons, Johnny (Paige) Belew of Beebe and Donnie (Stacy) Belew of Maumelle; two daughters, Linda (Donnie) Conyers of Beebe and Kathy (Larry) Bailey of Rose Bud; grandchildren, Rhonda McNeill, Gina Barnes, Smokey Turner, Robert Belew, Lydia Belew, Austin French, Mallory French, Chandler Belew; two step-grandchildren, Rhonda Dixon and Paul Gill; great-grandchildren, Carson and Cole McNeill, Cameron, Caleb and Colton Barnes, Heaven and Temperance Turner; two step-great-grandchildren, Hanah and Jake Dixon; and one sister, Demetra Stroud of Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Belew and one daughter, Donna Belew.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with Rev. Ken Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
