She had 4 children: Robert Dean(Bobby), Judith (Judy) Elaine,Margaret Geraldine and Jenny Carol.
She worked at The Chair Plant in Ronda sanding chairs.She also help her husband raise a garden to feed the family. She canned many vegetables from the gardens ,and she loved to sew and makes clothes for herself and her girls.
She made many quilts for the family to use on those cold winter nights.
On Sunday after going to church she would cook and feed whom ever would visit.
Born and raised in Traphill, she and her sisters would walk down Green Street Mountain to attend school at the Garden Creek Church, located in Stone Mountain State Park.
She died from a stroke. Her birth certificate said she was born on April,25,1918, but she always used May,25,1918.
