Rudy Meyers of Adams dies at age 43

Rudy J. Meyers, 43, of Adams, died Monday at St. Olaf Hospital in Austin after a lengthy illness.

He was born Dec. 30, 1946, at Austin, and graduated from Adams High School and Mankato Commercial College. Mr. Meyers worked for Alpek Sheet Metal in Rochester for a time and then for Twinco and Bell Distributing and Royal Sales in Minneapolis. He returned to Adams in November 1989.

Survivors include his mother, Narcy Meyers of Adams and a brother Paul J. of Long Valley, N.J. His father preceded him in death.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams with Rev. Andrew Kriedermacher officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Austin.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Adams Funeral Home where rosaries will be recited at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday.
