Mrs. Robert Blackmon Taylor, 93, of Corsicana, died Jan 18, 1989, at her residence.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Corley Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. David Pittenger officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery.
She was born Aug 30, 1895, in Eureka and moved to Corsicana in the early 1900s. She was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church, past regent of James Blair Chapter NSDAR and a graduate of Corsicana High School. During her life, she took part in many community activities and was active in the work of her church. She was associated with Willette Greenlee Interiors, Hamilton House and Daiches Jewelry.
She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia T. O'Connell, of Corsicana; one son, John F. Taylor Sr., of Corsicana; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren;
Pallbearers will be B. L. Bradford, Dr. C. David Campbell, C.M. Gillespie Jr., R.L. Hamilton, Dr. Robert A. Lang and William J. McKie.
Memorials may be made to the Henry Walker Fund, Westminster Presbyterian Church in Corsicana.
