Neil D. Bingham 1928 ~ 2009 A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Neil Durrant Bingham, 80, passed away October 5, 2009 in Phoenix, AZ. Born October 31, 1928 in Park City, Utah, son of Thomas Sanford and Adel Bingham. He was a mechanical engineer, a pilot and builder of airplanes. He loved, and was an expert at, woodworking, landscaping, electronics and auto mechanics. Former missionary in the Central States for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he was active in Scouting, Bishop twice and served three missions to the Philippines where he was a counselor to each of the mission presidents. Survived by his wife, Janet, Casa Grande, AZ; son, Paul K. Bingham, Encinitas, CA; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers: Norris Bingham, UT; Marwood Bingham, WA; sister, Bernice Hodges, CA. Preceded in death by parents; wives, Carole Kendrick Bingham and Lynette Peterson Bingham. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at the Heritage 2nd Ward, 7645 S. 3200 W. where a viewing will be held Saturday, 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Orem City Cemetery.
