Lewis Norwood "Shorty" Billingsley, age 95 of Pikeville, died Wednesday, September 30, 2009. He was a life long resident of Bledsoe County and a member of the Cold Springs Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by wife Ruby Billingsley; parents Pat and Abbie Billingsley; brother Malcolm Billingsley; sisters Maureen Hale and Lena Ruth Hale. Survivors include son Larry (Rene) Billingsley, Pikeville; grandchildren Jerod ( Kelli) Billingsley, Pikeville; Wendy Billingsley, Pikeville; great-grandchildren Katelynn Billingsley, Maddie Denney, and Pamela Holland; brother J. T. Billingsley, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Services will be Friday at 2:00 pm CDT in with Phil Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Pendergrass Cemetery.
