Surviving are one son, Dennis W. Absher of Richmond, Va.; one daughter, Kristine Grubb of Piney Point, Maryland.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Wallace Absher. Cecil was a World War II Navy veteran.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 28, 2009 at the Browning-Duffer
Funeral Home in Keysville, Va., with interment in the Cool Springs Christian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Sunday, September 27, 2009 from 7 to 8 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Va. is in charge of arrangements.
