Mr. Turrentine died Tuesday, Jan. 10 at his residence. He was born on Jan. 27, 1927, in Morgan County to James and Ruthie Hart Turrentine. He was a farmer and cattle trader and a lifelong member of Pleasant View Holy Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Martha Turrentine of Vinemont; two sons, Conrad (Elizabeth) Turrentine and Donnie (Tracey) Turrentine, both of Vinemont; a daughter, Clara (Willard) Asherbranner of Falkville; a sister, Lorene Hogan of
Vinemont; three granddaughters, Amy Asherbranner and Chrissy Turrentine, both of Falkville, and Natasha (Ian) McClellan of Vinemont; a great-granddaughter, Carly
McClellan; and a stepgrandson, Chris England of Vinemont.
Pallbearers will be James Turrentine, Ronnie Turrentine, Brandon Turrentine, Lynn Kilpatrick, Tim Looney, Roy Johnson, Waylan Turrentine and Fred Buttons.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
