Mrs. Minnie Hines Humphrey Holcomb Himes, 84, a resident of Hidden Acres in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Monday, May8, 2006.
Graveside services for Mrs. Himes will be conducted Friday, May 12, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Rick Points officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Joe and Rachel Embler Hines and wife of the late Elton Humphrey. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Bertha Shouse of Santa Fe and Annie R. Himes of Lewisburg; three sons, James Humphrey, Gerald Humphrey and Johnny Humphrey, all of Santa Fe; a sister, Helen Peters of Columbia; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Frank Holcomb, Jr. and a brother, Dewey Hines.
"NOTE"-If Dewey Hines is Himes-then brother may be buried at Sheboss Cemetery
