Married 1 October 1924 at Morrison Illinois.
There is so much love about her that is hard to put in words.
She loved to watch the birds. We would sit at her table and watch them through the sliding glass door. When her eyesight was going, she saw red birds last. When she passed, a red bird landed outside my Aunt's house. I continue to believe that was a sign from her that said - "Hey - I'm allright."
All her grandchildren and great grandchildren would love to comb her rich dark red hair. She would sit in a chair while all the grandkids took turns. Her eyes would close and we would tease her - "Did you fall asleep Grandma?" She would reply - "No, I am just resting my eyes."
