Uncle Al was a pharmacist in Kinston. He and my aunt Emily were the family members who arranged for the placement of my brother Cary in a home for the handicapped in Kinston. Cary had had meningitis at age 9 months and was that age physically until his death in 1953 at age 10 years. They visited him regularly since my mom and dad lived in California. Bless them for their help to family! He and Emily had no children of their own and were happy to share the nieces and nephews they had to the delight of them all!
