Elizabeth “Libby” Aab, 90, of Elkview went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 27, 2008 at CAMC General E.R.

She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She attended St. Andrew Presbyterian Church and was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph Harper and Emma Jones Harper; sisters Effie Swiney, Ruth Ashley, Freda Cunningham, Opal Summers Taylor and Lucille Harris; brother Eugene Harper; half brother Noble Harper and son Raymond Aab.

Libby lived an adventurous life with the man she married who was a retired military man. He retired 46 years ago as a Marine 1st Sergeant, during which time they did worldly travels and met many new friends.

Surviving:
Loving Husband of 62 years: Helmut Aab
Sons: Greg Aab and wife Donna of Clendenin, Robin Aab of Elkview
Daughter - in - law: Claudine Aab of Charleston
Brother: Walter Harper of Spencer
Sister: Betty Harris of Elkview
Great Grandchildren: Tayler, Michael, and Bailey Aab

Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday August 29, 2008 at the Hafer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James A. Walther officiating. Burial will follow at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.
