"Arnold E. Lesser passed away July 24, 2002 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Michigan City, IN at the age of 81.
He was buried at Lakeside Cemetery with full military rites and flag presentation was conducted by the Three Oaks American Legion.
He was into many different functions during his life including playing in the Harry Diffendorfer Dance Band, a very good dance band, from New Buffalo High School.
After that, he even taught band for several years at Lakeshore High School.
He married his wife in 1943 and at least had a chance to celebrate his 50th Golden Anniversary."
