In 1940 he was residing in Marion, Grant County, Indiana, age 71, widowed, and was a pubic school teacher. He owned his home and had been living there in 1935.
Died 96 years old, husband of late Maude(Keppler)Blossom. He was a retired school superintendent at Auburn Indiana. His name is on the stone with his first wife Maude, no date of death, in Indiana. His son Brooks was buried in Forest Grove Cemetery in Augusta and cemetery record indicates son of Omar H. Blossom but there are no names on the stone of Brooks. I could not find a burial record for him and am leaving him where the memorial was first created until I can find proof of burial from a death record.
