Walter Joel Santrock died September 4, 1949, in his home in Pittsburgh. Mr. Santrock was born July 13, 1882, at Elk City, Pa., a son of the late Harmon and Barbara Santrock. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jennie Santrock of Clairsville, Ohio; two sons, Robert of St. Clairsville, Ohio, and Lieut. Joel Santrock of the U.S. Navy; a daughter, Mrs. Ray Forrest of Johnstown. Also surviving are four sisters, Miss Mary Santrock of Kittanning, Mrs. Ella Lytle of Midland, Mrs. Carrie Helm of Sunnyside and Mrs. Irene Swartzlander of Kittanning. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 o'clock this evening in the O'Toole and O'Conner funeral home, 5106 Second Avenue, Hazelwood. Burial will be made Wednesday morning in Stubenville, Ohio.
