Clay Jennings Chandler, 5, of Drew, died of leukemia Sunday, September 13, 2009, at home.

Clay was born on November 24, 2003 to Forrest Jennings Chandler and Arie Earls Chandler.

Clay is survived by his parents, Forrest and Arie Chandler of Drew; a sister, Ellie Caroline Chandler of Drew; his maternal grandparents, Roger and Wanda Earls of Linn; paternal grandparents, Tommy and Sheila Chandler of Doddsville; uncle, Josh Earls of Doddsville; aunt, Emily-Kathryn Chandler of Doddsville; great grandparents, Malcolm and Coriene Wiltshire of Black Hawk, and Mary Jane Chandler of Parchman; and several other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 16 at Drew Baptist Church in Drew.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Drew Baptist Church with Rev. Gayden Harrell officiating. Burial will follow in Roundaway Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ray Funeral Home of Cleveland is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38104.
