She was preceded in death by her husband J.T.
Funeral Services will be held 11 am Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Powder Springs with Rev. Mike Woods officiating. Burial will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. She will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 pm to 5 pm, and on Monday from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Powder Springs.
Mrs. Moore was born in Habersham County and moved to Atlanta in 1942. She then lived in Powder Springs from 1963 until 2003 before moving to Dallas. She retired from the Georgia Department of Labor after a long career. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years, having served in many positions, including the Grand Representative to Australia, the Dream Maker Big Sister, the Worthy Matron for Powder Springs Chapter 493, Secretary/Treasurer, and presently Electa. Mrs. Moore was also an active member of the Happy Hearts Senior Choir and the Joy Seekers Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church of Powder Springs.
