John R. Folley, 69, of the 6666 Ranch West Camp, died of a heart attack yesterday. Folley was stricken with the attack in Pringle and was pronounced dead on arrival at North Plains Hospital.

Folley, a long-time resident of the Panhandle area, was employed by the 6666 Ranch. He had formerly worked for the JA Ranch and Coldwater Cattle Company.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; one son, J.W. of Perryton; one daughter, Mrs. Irma Ridge, Lubbock; five sisters, Mrs. Leon Nall, Guymon, Okla.; Mrs. J.R. Nall and Mrs. Irma Piercy, Turkey, Mrs. Bob Baird, Clarendon and Mrs. Marie Lyles, Quitaque; one brother, Cooch of Claude; and one grandson, Johnny of Perryton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Church of Christ in Turkey. Burial will be in the Turkey Cemetery under the direction of Minton Funeral Home.
