Julia A. (Tidmore) Donelson, after 56 years, "fell asleep, in Jesus" on Monday morning, September 7, 2009 from Ft. Gibson. Born Julia Ann Tidmore, she was the precious baby girl born to the late William B. and Wanda Lee (Neal) Tidmore in Muskogee on April 26, 1953.A lifelong resident of the city, Julia attended Muskogee Public Schools, where she graduated from Muskogee High School. She furthered her education at Northeastern State University. Julia was a gifted musician. She played the keyboards, piano, flute, piccolo and clarinet, just to name a few. Listing these instruments barely begins to describe her musical talents. She accomplished many goals and awards during her time, including but not limiting to All District and All State Band honors. Julia worked in the Banking Industry since her high school years, where she was Vice President of Citizens National Bank. She specialized in the Real Estate Division, where she helped countless families under her guidance. She worked for several different financial institutions in the area and also attended New Hope Baptist Church during her lifetime.She loved to laugh and pull crazy stunts on her siblings. She held memberships in the Pilot Club, serving as President and also the Professional Realtors Association, to name just a couple.Julia was preceded in death by her parents, a stillborn sister, April Tidmore Rains and a brother, William B. Tidmore, Jr. She leaves to reflect and remember; her brothers, Robert Lee and Sarah Tidmore, Muskogee, Richard and Galina Tidmore and David and Rhonda L. Tidmore, all of Ft. Gibson; along with other family and friends.The Hour of Celebration of her life will be on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. in the most sacred sanctuary of the Believers Christian Fellowship. Pastor John Derr, the gracious host, will officiate. The Christian Committal will follow in the Greenhill Cemetery. You may visit Julia, as she slumbers in sweet repose on Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., in Muskogee. The Bearers of the Casket will be Billy Tidmore, John Tidmore, Tyler Tidmore, Bryan Tidmore, Mike Tidmore and Chris Tidmore. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in her memory to the Julia Ann Tidmore Scholarship Fund thru the Real Estate Professionals at First National Bank.
