A life long resident of Buncombe County. she was
the daughter of the late Samuel B and Matilda Angeline Cothran Lance.
She was the wife of the late William M Rochester.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surving are a daughter Dora Parker of Asheville,
two step-daughters, Anna Mae Franklin of Asheville and Lillian Lear of Chesterfield SC.
Seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren,
14 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Groce Funeral Home. The Rev John Knight will officate. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery Asheville NC
