Her marriage to Charlie Adams was solemnized March 7, 1925. To this union two children were born, William Adain 5 years and Charles Le Roy 22 years, all of whom were at her bedside at the time of her death.
She also leaves to mourn her departure, grandfather and grandmother Davis of Iola, Kansas, and grandmother Shaver of Wellington, Kans., and a host of relatives and friends.
In the spirng of 1930 she gave her life to Christ. She believed in God and in her dying hour found in Him an assurance filled with comfort. She bore her sickness and suffering patiently and did not complain. She will be missed in the home and community. Who can take the place of a wife and mother? But "He that doeth all things well will never leave nor foresake."
After her death a letter written by her to her two children was found. It contained the follwing prayer, "I pray God that He will guide, guard and protect. It is my prayer that they may make honest Christina men. Mother."
Funeral services were conducted Thursday morning by F.A. Bray, at the Goodhope church, after which burial took place at the Goodhope cemetery. - CONTRIBUTED.
