Trapper J. Adkins, 20, of Grenada, a native of Morehouse Parish, La., died Wednesday at Grenada Lake Medical Center.
Mr. Adkins was a welder for J.H. Biddy. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and served as VICA president while attending Grenada High School.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Dr. Clarence Cooper and Bro. Jerry Stuckey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Grenada.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Adkins is survived by his mother, Belinda Ellinburg of Bastrop, La.; his father and step-mother, Curtis and Karen Adkins of Grenada; two brothers, Chris Gunter of Grenada and Josh Ellinburg of Bastrop, La.; and two sisters, Christy Vance of Montgomery, Ala. and Anna Ellinburg of Bastrop, La.
Memorials may be sent to the Leukemia Society of America.
