Lowden, Ia.--Mr. and Mrs. George Srackbein, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Conrad and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Penningroth attended the funeral of Henry C. Goldsmith in the Evangelical and Reformed church in Clarence. Mr. Goldsmith was born in Cedar county Jan. 4, 1879, and lived on a farm near Clarence the past 18 years.

Surviving are three brothers, John Goldsmith of Aberdeen, SS, William Goldsmith of Pasadena, CA, and Joseph Goldsmith of Elgin, IL; and four sisters, Mrs. Henry Richmann, Mrs. Emerson Crist, Mrs. Paul Rix and Mrs. Henry Boettcher.
