He lived in Yadkinville, NC, and was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Steelman Reavis; his parents, Clinton Monroe Reavis & Etta Wilkins Reavis, and two brothers, J.C. & Barney Jennings Reavis. He was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Van & Betty Reavis; granddaughters and their husbands, Christy Reavis Swaim & Timmy Swaim and Jill Reavis Wood & Doug Wood; great-grandchildren, Lane & Morgan Swaim, Devin & Bryson Wood; sister, Mary Geralene Reavis Smith; brother, Sanford Clifton Reavis.
Interment in the Church graveyard, with full military honors, was conducted on Thursday, October 4, 2007; Revs. Jesse Miles and Grady Trivette presided.
