Marilyn Andrzejewski, age 75 of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2008 at her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Marilyn graduated from the Texas Women's University before entering into the teaching profession. She taught Elementary, Secondary and College curriculum in the education systems of Texas, Florida and Montana. Marilyn also served as the executive director for the Orange County Texas Campfire Council. She was an active supporter of the American Cancer Society, Disabled American Veterans and the National Arbor Foundation, including many humanitarian organizations in East Tennessee. Marilyn had made many close friends across the country. Those who know Marilyn, will always remember her warm smile, love of flowers and the concern for those friends and relatives that she loved.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, James H. Marsh Jr. and Lurline Hughey Marsh; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leon V. and Olga P. Andrzejewski.

Survived by her husband of 38 years, Paul L. Andrzejewski; brother, James H. Marsh III of Caldwell, TX; nieces, Mellisa Marsh of Lubbock, TX and Mollie Claire Marsh of Caldwell, TX; brother-in-law, Ralph V. Andrews of Beatty, NV; cousins, Joan and Carl McDaniel of McComb, MS, Mary Jo Snyder of Houston, TX, Sue and Robb Steinheider of Crossville, TN, George Ferguson of Austin, TX; lifetime friends, Mary Mendlick of La Conner, WA and sons, Michael and Douglas, Sue Weatherford of Orange, TX; very close friends, Sarah and Richard Reynolds of Lenoir City, David and Martha Manley of Lenoir City, Ralph and Betty Crass of Lenoir City, Jim and Sandy Harrison of Lenoir City, Earl and Marie Kennedy of Hermosa, SD, Marge and Gerry Proffit of Monroe, WA, Richard and Mickey Parr of Knoxville, TN, Inez Whittemore of Fargo, ND and many close school friends throughout the country.

Marilyn and Paul would like to thank all the nurses, doctors and caring people who so lovingly helped her during this battle with cancer.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24th at Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City. Memorial services will follow at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Claire Keene officiating. Inurnment will follow at the St. Thomas Columbarium at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Lenoir City with Deacon Sean Smith and Reverend Claire Keene officiating. Flowers may be sent to the Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is serving the Andrezejewski family.
