Perry Harold Hayes, 67, of Warsaw, died May 6, 2003. He was a retired sawyer for Rappahannock Lumber Company and the husband of Louise S. Hayes.
Other than his wife, he is survived by a son, Perry H. Hayes, Jr; two daughters, Carole "Missy" King and Barbara H. Bryant; three grandchildren, Kirk Hayes, Michael Fisher and Denise King, all of Warsaw.
Also surviving were two brothers, John William Hayes of Champlain, and Raymond Hope Hayes of Fredericksburg; four sisters, Lucy E. Elliot of Mechanicsville, Rachel S. Smith, Richmond, Dorothy Bradley Beasley and Nettie Barrett of Deshea. He was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Moore.
Funeral services were held on May 8, 2003 at Rappahannock Baptist Church, Newland. The Rev. Wade Wilkins officiated. Interment was in Rappahannock Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charles Moore, Ronnie More, Ricky Rouse, Chris Wilkins, Gilly Morse, Billy Moore and Albert Oliff.
