Jessie was a MP for the US Army. He done a tour of duty in
WWII. His parents are James & Essie Mae Tutherow Parker.
He was married to Dora Dean Lance. He was the father of Phillip, Susan, William (BILLY) Cathey Parker. Step father to Ann Calloway Medford, Ruth Calloway,Samuel Calloway.Jesse James Parker of Westwood Place Asheville died at th Hospice Solace Center. He was a WWII Veteran who received the Purple Heart. He retired as a maintainence worker for RL Coleman.

His the son of the late James and Essie Mae Tutherow Parker.
He is survived by his wife Dora Lance Parker of the home, and sons Phillip and wife Ann Parker of Newton NC,Billy and Tami parker of Marshall, daughters Susan Parker Breedlove of Weaverville and Cathey Parker Metcalf of Mars Hill, step father to Ann Calloway Medford of Old Fort, Ruth Calloway of Weaverville, and the late Samuel Calloway of Weaverville.
Fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He loved Fishing and enjoyed playing cards.
Burial will be in Ashlawn Garden of Memories Weaverville NC
