Eric Paul Lerma

Eric Paul Lerma, of Holbrook, passed away November 29, 2008 at Flagstaff Medical Center. He was 29.

Eric was born March 19, 1979 in Holbrook, Arizona to Norman and Linda (Mestrezat) Lerma. He grew up and attended Holbrook High School, graduating in 1997. He was very involved with Little League and High school activities until his Muscular Dystrophy limited him to a wheel chair. Eric was a talented artist which allowed him to design and sell his own postcards during Christmas time. He loved music especially playing the guitar.

He is survived by his parents Norman & Linda Lerma of Holbrook; brother, Tony Lerma of Laveen, AZ; 2 sisters, Leslie & Laura Lerma both of Flagstaff, AZ; nieces & nephews; Alec, Andrew, Rio, Aris; paternal grandparents, Paul & Romola Lerma of Holbrook, AZ as well as his extended family. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Raymond & Luceille Mestrezat.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 212 E. Arizona, Holbrook. A visitation will be held 6-8 P.M., Friday, December 5, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Recitation of The Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be held at the Holbrook Cemetery.
