Elmer J. Wooden, 88, of 576 Phillips Lane, died Saturday at Jewish Hospital. He was a retired employee of Louisville Fire Brick Works and a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include two daughters, Velma M. Monroe and Mrs. Geneva M. Kulmer; a son, William L. Wooden; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at McDaniel Funeral Home, 4339 Park Blvd., with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation at the funeral home will be after 1 p.m. Monday.
