E. Glenn Robinette
E. Glenn Robinette, 61, 216 Lucy Road, died at 10:45 p.m. yesterday at Indian Path Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Lee County, he had resided in Kingsport for the last 32 years and was employed by Kingsport Foundry for 31 years as a welder.
Robinette was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy and a member of Hickman Baptist Church where he also was a deacon.
Surviving are his wife, Juanita Ferrell Robinette, Kingsport; three sons, Glenn J. Robinette, Fred Robinette and Perry Robinette, all of Kingsport; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Harold (Edna) Lawson, Racine, Wis.; and a brother, Edgar W. Robinette, Milwaukee, Wis.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. tomorrow at Oak Hill Funeral Home or at the residence anytime.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of the funeral home with Elder Clarence Huffman and the Rev. Carson Shaffer officiating.
Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery
