Steve N. Caudill

Steve N. Caudill, 82, 220 May Ave., Kingsport, died at 3 a.m. Tuesday (March 1, 1994) at Indian Path Medical Center after a brief illness.

Born in Closplint, Ky., he had been a resident of Kingsport since 1949. He retired from Stonega Coke and Coal Company as a coal miner. He attended the Lynn Garden Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Addie Victoria Caudill; and a son, jack Caudill.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Reba Williams Caudill, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Phillip (Janice) Ketron, Kingsport, Mrs. Jane Veda White and Mrs. Malcolm (Carolyn) Morelock, both of Church Hill; one son, Willard G. Caudill, Kingsport; three stepsons, Jerry Sams, Ben Sams, and David Sams, all of Kingsport; 10 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Roxie Easterly, Holmes Mill, Ky.

Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Funeral Home.

Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Carl Strickler and the Rev. Paul Nelson officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Oak Hill Cemetery.
