Funeral services for Lee Myers, 86, of Midwest City were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 12, at the Crews Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Loraine Leonard, pastor of the United Methodist Church officiating.
Mr. Myers died April 8 at Midwest City after an extended illness. He was born at Hoyt, Kansas on March 7, 1896 and came to Oklahoma with his parents in 1907. He was married to Gladys Mae Ross at Anadarko on May 13, 1944. After their marriage they operated the Meer's Store from 1955 until 1970 when they retired and moved to Midwest City. His wife preceded him in death May 7, 1981. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Jack Myers of Midwest City; one granddaughter; and two sisters, Marie Inman of Apache and Grace Slama of Choctaw, ok.
Burial was in Fairview cemetery with Crews Funeral Home in charge.
