Mary G. Dunn, 95, of Madison, died Monday, July 27, 2009, at The Waters of Clifty Falls.

She was born Nov. 19, 1913, in Carroll County, Ky., the daughter of John B. and Emma Lloyd Hamilton. She farmed and was a cook for the Crow's Nest and the Indiana-Kentucky Electric Corp. She was a member of Cove Hill Baptist Church in Carrollton. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, reading the Bible and watching the Walnut Street Baptist Church services.

She is survived by two daughters, Edith Warren of Carrollton, Ky., and Donna Brawner of Madison; three sons, J.C. Dunn of Lexington, and Cecil Dunn and Arthur Ray Dunn, both of Madison; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray V. Dunn, whom she married Jan. 5, 1936, and who died, Feb. 2, 1992; her parents; seven brothers; one sister; and four grandchildren.

The funeral was at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Lytle Funeral Chapel. Burial in Moffett Cemetery in Milton, Ky.

Friends called at the funeral home Wednesday, July 29, 2009, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Jul 30, 2009, from 10 a.m. until the service.
