Lee C. Darst

Lee C. Darst, 75, 3333 N. Kessler St., Indianapolis, died Friday morning in Winona Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born April 23, 1895, in Marion, Ind., the son of Charles Phillip and Lucretia (Hawkins) Darst. He was married Sept. 17, 1941 to Louise (Huschle) of St. Louis who survives.
Also surviving are one brother, Howard F. Darst, Kokomo; two sisters, Mrs. Lester (Maude) Lantz, Riverside, Calif., and Mrs. Henry (Edith) Long, Richmond, and several nieces.
Friends may call at Stevens Chapel of the Flower Mortuary, 3136 W. 16th Street. Friends may call from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church in Indianapolis, Rev. Richard Cavanaugh officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery here. The Rev. Howard Fox of Grace United Methodist Church will conduct graveside services.
