Sheryl Lynn McCoy, 45, of Coalgate, Oklahoma passed away December 23, 2006 in Norman, Oklahoma. She was born January 31, 1961 in Lomita, California to George L. and Sandra Sue Thomas McCoy.
She was a truck driver for Prime Covenant, U.S. Express and Tyson for ten years. She enjoyed arts and crafts, floral arranging, knitting and embroidery.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Billy Dee Weir of Coalgate, sons, Dennis Lamar Beaver Jr. and wife Sara of Montana and Thomas Eugene McCoy and wife Kelly of Coalgate, one daughter, Brandie Lynn Beaver Loveless and husband Denver of Coweta, Oklahoma, five step-daughters, Rochelle Hamilton of Florida and Christina Aguilar and husband William of Portland, Oregon, Tyonna Brown, Suzanna Weir and Katherine Weir and two step-sons, Billy Weir Jr. and Brandon Wier of Portland, Oregon, her parents, George and Sandra Sue Thomas McCoy of Coalgate and two brothers, George McCoy and wife Wanda of Coalgate and John McCoy of Oklahoma City, six grandchildren, sixteen step-grandchildren and numerous friends and loved ones.
Services will be Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown's Funeral Chapel of Coalgate, Oklahoma with interment at Rossville Cemetery, Wellston, Oklahoma officiated by Rev. Bill Weathers.
∼sheryl was born to george leon (D)& sue mccoy. she had been married in calif and has three children, brandy & thomas of oklahoma and dj of montana. she drove semi trucks for many years driving 48 states, solo and as a team member with long time partner, billy dee weir she died of cervex cancer and is layed to rest along side of her family members, including her grand parents.
