Sabina C. Strnad, 91, of Prairie du Chien, died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at the Prairie Health Care Center. She was born in Grant County, on Dec. 3, 1912, daughter of Albert and Kathryn (Vogt) Richter.
She married Lawrence Strnad on May 14, 1938, in Prairie du Chien. He preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 1985. She was an active member of St. John's Church in Prairie du Chien and worked for the school lunch program for many years.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald (Judy) and Michael (Sharon), both of Prairie du Chien; two sisters, Mary Berger of Prairie du Chien, and Alberta Bradley of Glen Haven.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Celestine Richter; four sisters, Ann Waller, Florence Hill, Nellie and Dorothy Richter.
A Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at St. John's Catholic Church, Rev. Hubert Boschert SJ officiating, with burial in the Calvary Cemetery, both in Prairie du Chien.
