Ima Elizabeth Burleson, of Haleyville died Monday at Carraway Burdick West Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2001, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethel Cemetery located in the Wiley Branch community. Pinkard Funeral Home is directing. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, Oct. 2, 2001, at Pinkard Funeral Home.
Mrs. Burleson was a lifelong resident of Haleyville. She was a housewife and a member of South Haleyville Church of Christ. Ima was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Loveless; children, Janice Fay Thompson, Steve Dee Lane Burleson, two baby boys, and one set of twin boys; brother, Harvey Loveless; Sister, Effie; and two grandchildren, Talmadge Ray Henson and Dennis Keith Henson. She is survived by her husband, Melton Burleson; children, Elease Campbell and Eleanor Corene (Robert) Marcum; brother, John Newman Loveless; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren.
